Holidays came and went with the blink of an eye! I did a lot of fun projects, but never took the time to take a picture and actually post it! Sorry!!! I am trying to do better for those of you who diligently check this blog! (Thank you for checking this blog!!)
These first two pictures are in the home of my friend C. She put the vinyl right on her walls.
The first one says, "Always be an instrument in His hands"

My husband and I made these blocks for my sister-in-law for Christmas!

I love this one. It is so classy! S. put it right on her wall. It is above her family photos, which hang from a rod. The overall effect is very nice. I really liked it!

I saw something similar to this at Porter's and LOVED it. What a perfect wedding gift

Aimee emailed her finished vinyl project. It looks GREAT, Aimee!

It's slightly out of focus, sorry about that. Sandi asked me to come up with something flowy and whimsical. We both like the way it turned out. She finished it with a high gloss resin.

One of my favorite clients saw something similar to this in a magazine. She had the idea to turn it into a headboard in her guest room. I love the way that it turned out!

Blocks and more Blocks

My cousin had us make a seasonal version of these blocks at our monthly craft day. I LOVED the idea. Another cousin happened to be getting married, so I found paper in the colors of their living room, and put their last name on the blocks in vinyl. I think it turned out adorable--not to mention I ended up with an expensive-looking gift for minimal amount of money!

Sample Fonts

I have put some sample fonts on the side of my blog, but they are tiny. So, I will include here in a post as well. I do have a lot more fonts than this. These are some of the most popular. If you have a project in mind, email me and we'll find the perfect font for you!

Boys Bedroom

Cortney just put the "vinyl" touches on her twin boys' bedroom with this cute poem.

It turned out adorable, Cortney! I love it!

I keep this bucket on my counter with all my recipe books--I love it!
In honor of my anniversary a couple weeks ago, here is a wedding gift idea.

The goblets were given to us as a wedding gift. For years, they just sat there because I didn't know what to do with them. With a little vinyl, I personalized them and now they have a place of honor in my hutch where I can see them daily.

I know it's been too long since my last post. January usually drags on, but this year I blinked, once, and it's already the last week. That's good, but it has left me desperately trying to catch up in too many areas.

My contest didn't get a lot of support. I think that you just weren't sure what to do with that frame. The next time I offer something, I'll keep it simple. However, Cortney did come up with a GREAT design. And here is the finished project!!

Thanks, Cortney. Hope you enjoy it!

Well, so far there has been no interest in my Christmas Contest. I'm thinking that it is either because you just aren't sure what to do with the frame or it was a dumb idea. Since I'm hoping that it's the first one, here are some ideas of what I have done with similar frames. Hopefully this will get those creative juices flowing. Remember, this is a $45 value and would make a great gift!
sorry for the quality of these first two pictures. This one is done in a high-gloss finish, making it very difficult to photograph as it reflects everything. But it is alsolutely gorgeous!!

I couldn't get the lighting right on this one! There is just no other excuse!

more ideas:
family memories scattered around the frame
your child's name and birthdate with some flowers/balloons/trucks

Christmas Contest

In hopes of getting my name out there, I am sponsoring a Contest!!
Please pass my link along to all your friends as family!
I have here an unfinished 18x18 frame. There is a 3 1/2 inch opening in the center for a picture. This frame has ENDLESS possibilities! So, get in touch with your creative side, and leave me a comment telling me how you would use vinyl to finish this frame.
Don't forget, I can do almost anything with vinyl, so don't limit yourself to words. (i.e. flowers, swirls)
I have a panel of judges ready to pick the winner. The entries will be judged on creativity and how well your idea will fit (or match) the frame.
If all participates have INCREDIBLE entries (which is what I'm hoping for!), then the panel of judges will pick a winner at random.
This is a $45.00 value!! So, pull out your favorite quote, your family scripture.... and leave me a comment describing how you would put your idea on the frame!
Now I know that this particular frame is not going to appeal to all of you. So, I am also offering an 8x8 Tile. It will be the same idea as the frame. Leave me a comment telling me how you would use vinyl to complete the tile. Make sure when you leave your comment that you specify TILE.
Good Luck, Everyone!
Entries will be taken until December 13 @ 10 p.m. (mountain time)
